Another bicyclist was killed in our community when struck by a vehicle last week. The increase in
bicycle accident deaths has been a growing trend and obviously very concerning. The Tampa Tribune is reporting that since July 29, 2010, nine people have been killed while biking on our roads in Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties. Last Tuesday an individual was killed on US 41 when they were struck by a Jeep Cherokee. Anytime a vehicle and bicycle or pedestrian collide, the damages are often tragic.
