Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system, and disrupts the flow of information to and from the brain. Symptoms of MS vary from mild (such as numbness in the limbs) to severe (paralysis or loss of vision). Multiple sclerosis is very unpredictable, and varies between individuals.
The cause of Multiple Sclerosis is currently unknown, but studies are conducted every day, which bring researchers closer and closer to finding the answers. As research improves and medical advances are made, those afflicted with MS are given new hope for their condition.
Lowman Law Firm is sponsoring the Citrus Tour this year, to help the MS community in their research efforts.
Bike MS: The Citrus Tour is a cycling event held for multiple sclerosis research. The Citrus Tour is a two-day long event that draws more than 1,500 cyclists from across the country every year (2015 being the tour's 27th anniversary). The course is designed for cyclists of any skill level and options include 50, 75 or 100 mile routes (Saturday) and 20, 50 or 75 mile options (Sunday).
