“The National Safety Council (NSC) observes April as Distracted Driving Awareness Month to draw attention to this epidemic. NSC wants to empower you to put safety first and Take Back Your Drive.”

Too many precious and valuable lives are lost to distracted driving, which can include texting, grooming, or using hands-free features from vehicle "infotainment features." According to the NSC, 53% of drivers believe if hands-free tech is in their vehicles that it “must be safe.”

As a means of spreading awareness, we would like to share an infographic from the NSC to show you why “hands-free is not risk-free.” There will be an embed code below, and feel free to share it with your friends and family on social media:
