Lowman Law Firm Sponsored the 2015 Blueberry Festival in Brooksville!

This year’s Florida Blueberry Festival was a huge success! The festival is a two-day event in Brooksville established by the Blueberry Family Health Foundation with a mission to “improve the health of children and families by supporting research, education, and wellness initiatives.” Their ultimate goal is to end type 2 diabetes in children, and the festival has live music, vendors, and fun for the whole family.

Lowman Law Firm was an official sponsor for this year’s festival, and is proud of the positive economic impact it has had on Hernando County!

Not only was money raised for great organizations such as a band booster for Hernando High School and Spring Hill’s Central Rotary, but the Florida Blueberry Growers Association decided to make Brooksville their permanent home!

Next year’s Blueberry Festival information is as follows:

April 16-17, 2016 from 10am-8pm and 10am-6pm, respectively.

This year alone, over $39,000.00 was earned by the Festival Charitable Partners according to a cordial letter by President Michael Heard. Bringing awareness to Florida’s Blueberry Industry has helped foster an audience of over 10 million regionally and “16 million in national readership.”
