A St. Petersburg man was driving his SUV in rural Hernando County Monday night when he lost control of his vehicle, over-corrected, and struck a tree.  The St. Pete man was bayflighted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa but was later declared dead due to his injuries from the car crash.  The auto accident happened north of Brooksville near Lake Lindsey on Hernando County road 476.  It is unclear as to any witnesses or the exact cause of the crash.  Law Enforcement is currently investigating potential reasons as to why the St. Petersburg man lost control and eventually crashed.

This type of tragedy is difficult to overcome for anyone who may have known the St. Pete driver.  However, in order for the family’s questions to be answered regarding the cause of the car crash, a complete investigation into the vehicle, roadway, and surrounding traffic is necessary.  This type of investigation requires more than law enforcement.  These answers can only be provided by a complete and thorough investigation by a personal injury law firm and a number of traffic accident experts.
